Dolce Suono Ensemble’s innovative project presents chamber music by American composers who were at the forefront of post-war musical culture but who are underrepresented in concert today. This concert and panel discussion features music by Walter Piston, George Rochberg, Louise Talma, Leonard Bernstein, George Perle, Ralph Shapey, and Richard Wernick.

The artists:
Celebrated musicians Miranda Cuckson, violin/viola, joins the Dolce Suono Trio of Mimi Stillman, flute, Gabriel Cabezas, cello, and Charles Abramovic, piano, and Yao Guang Zhai, clarinet

They will be joined by panel discussion speakers James Freeman, conductor and founder of Orchestra 2001, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Richard Wernick.

3:00-6:00pm
- 3:00 concert
- 4:00pm panel discussion and refreshments
- 5:00pm concert
